American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez has revealed that she’s leaning towards
exiting the singing competition show after two seasons.
During an interview on NBC’s Today on Thursday morning, the 42-year-old singer said that she’s “thinking that maybe its time for me to go and do other things that I really love to do.”
The On The Floor hitmaker echoed her previous comments that while she loves judging the singing competition, it’s a huge time commitment away from her own music career. “You know, I signed on to American Idol to do one year, and … I wound up doing the two years,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying on the show. And now it’s like, ‘OK, do we continue on this journey? At the end of the day, whichever way, it’s a heartbreaking decision if I’m going to have to go,” she added
